We show a word in the foreign language — you pick the correct translation from four options in your native language. This is the inverse of «Choose the Word»: there you pick form by meaning, here you pick meaning by form — translating in the opposite direction. Both directions matter, because the brain doesn't store word-translation links as a symmetric pair, but separately — one often recalls a foreign word from the native language easily but struggles the other way, and both skills need training separately. Useful before reading articles or watching films where you have to translate on the fly from foreign to native.
